Baggage

We offer a range of services to make managing your baggage easier, including storage, handling, and safeguarding options.

Porters are available to assist with luggage at the terminal entrance for Departures, and at baggage carousels for Arrivals. Charges start at AED 30 and vary based on service duration.

Trolleys are available free of charge and conveniently located throughout the airport.

Secure your luggage with our wrapping service, available at check-in areas. Avoid delays by weighing your bags before wrapping them.

Ensure your baggage complies with airport and airline requirements to save time and avoid additional costs.

• Bags must have at least one flat surface.
• Liquids, aerosols, and gels in hand luggage must be packed in a transparent, resealable bag and not exceed 100 millilitres per item, with a maximum of ten items equivalent to 1 litre. Exemptions apply for medications, baby food/milk, or dietary needs.
• Baggage larger than 90cm x 75cm x 60cm, or that does not have a single flat surface, must be checked in at the airline’s baggage counter, and then dropped to the oversized baggage counter. Allow extra time for this process.
• Airlines have various rules around checked-in baggage. For your checked-in baggage allowance, please check with the baggage policy of the airline.
• Due to recent policy changes, airport security has the authority to open bags to identify and remove suspiciously packaged or prohibited items without the guest present. Airport security is not liable for any associated damage.

• Keep laptops/iPads/tablets in hand luggage and make sure they can be easily reached. At security, place them in a separate security tray.
• Always remove old baggage tags as they may cause the bags to be mishandled.
• Cardboard boxes are accepted as checked-in baggage. The boxes must be robust and of good quality.
• Don’t forget travel insurance.

Check the signs above each carousel for your flight number to locate your baggage. If your flight is not displayed, please approach a Guest Experience Ambassador for assistance.
